CSB Bank Announces Strong Q1 FY27 Performance
CSB Bank has officially released its unaudited financial results for the first quarter of the Financial Year 2027, which concluded on June 30, 2026. The Board of Directors reviewed and approved these results on July 22, 2026, following a review by the Statutory Auditors.
Key Financial Highlights
The bank showcased robust year-on-year growth across several key metrics:
- Total Deposits grew by 26% YoY to ₹45,415 crore as on June 30, 2026, compared to ₹35,935 crore on June 30, 2025. The CASA ratio stood at 19%.
- Net Advances (Net) increased by 24% YoY to ₹40,309 crore as on June 30, 2026, from ₹32,552 crore on June 30, 2025. This growth was supported by significant increases in gold loans (47% YoY) and wholesale advances (37% YoY).
- Net Interest Income (NII) rose by 26% YoY to ₹479 crore for Q1 FY27, up from ₹379 crore in Q1 FY26.
- Operating Profit grew by 14% YoY to ₹251 crore for Q1 FY27, compared to ₹220 crore in Q1 FY26.
- Profit after Tax (PAT) saw a substantial increase of 27% YoY, reaching ₹150 crore for Q1 FY27, up from approximately ₹119 crore in Q1 FY26.
Asset Quality and Capital Structure
The bank maintained a healthy asset quality and a strong capital base:
- Gross non-performing assets (NPA) were reported at 1.75% as on June 30, 2026, an improvement from 1.84% on June 30, 2025.
- Net non-performing assets stood at 0.39% as on June 30, 2026, down from 0.66% on June 30, 2025.
- The Provision Coverage Ratio was strong at 86.83% as on June 30, 2026.
- The Capital Adequacy Ratio remained robust at 19.96%, well above regulatory requirements.
