L&T Finance Board Approves Q1 FY27 Unaudited Financial Results and Appoints New Director

L&T Finance Limited’s Board of Directors met on July 10, 2026, to approve the unaudited consolidated and standalone financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The Board also approved the appointment of Mr. Prashant Kumar as an Additional (Independent) Director for a five-year term, subject to shareholder approval. Additionally, the Board approved the re-classification of Nabha Power Limited from ‘Promoter Group’ to ‘Public’ category.

L&T Finance Board Meeting Highlights

On July 10, 2026, the Board of Directors of L&T Finance Limited convened a meeting where several key decisions were made. The primary outcome was the approval of the unaudited financial results (both consolidated and standalone) for the quarter that concluded on June 30, 2026. These results, along with the limited review report from statutory auditors and a certificate from the auditors, were duly approved.

New Director Appointment

Following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board approved the appointment of Mr. Prashant Kumar (DIN: 07562475) as an Additional (Independent) Director. His term is set for 5 consecutive years, commencing from July 10, 2026, and concluding on July 9, 2031. This appointment is contingent upon the approval of the company’s shareholders. Mr. Kumar is not disqualified from holding a director’s position by any SEBI order or other relevant authority.

Nabha Power Limited Re-classification

The Board also addressed the re-classification request from Nabha Power Limited (NPL). Following NPL’s cessation as a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro Limited and upon reviewing information and confirmations provided by NPL, the Board approved the re-classification of NPL from the ‘Promoter Group’ category to the ‘Public’ category. This decision is subject to obtaining necessary approvals from stock exchanges and other regulatory bodies.

Financial Highlights (Unaudited)

The unaudited consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, show Total Income of ₹5,243.49 crore and Profit After Tax of ₹915.99 crore. Total Comprehensive Income stood at ₹894.37 crore. For the standalone entity, Total Income was ₹5,243.49 crore and Profit After Tax was ₹895.32 crore, with Total Comprehensive Income at ₹894.37 crore.
