Wipro Limited Launches Applied AI Center of Excellence for Claude Models with Anthropic

Wipro Limited has launched its Applied AI Center of Excellence (CoE) for Claude models, in collaboration with Anthropic. This initiative aims to accelerate enterprise AI adoption by integrating advanced AI capabilities into core business workflows across various industries. The CoE will leverage Wipro’s AI-powered platforms and a global talent pool of Forward Deployed Engineers to deliver measurable business outcomes for clients, emphasizing a ‘proof over promise’ approach to AI integration.

Wipro Launches AI Center of Excellence for Claude Models

Wipro Limited announced today the launch of its Applied AI Center of Excellence (CoE) for Claude models, powered by Anthropic. This significant development reinforces Wipro’s commitment to accelerating enterprise AI impact. The CoE, inaugurated at its Bengaluru innovation hub, is a key part of the newly formed AI-Native Business & Platforms Unit.

Enhancing Enterprise AI Capabilities

The new CoE is designed to enhance Wipro’s ability to scale enterprise AI adoption by integrating Claude models across its Wipro Intelligence™™ stack. This includes delivery, functional, and industry platforms, enabling the embedding of AI into core business workflows across diverse industries. Wipro has also focused on building a global talent pool of Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) trained on Claude models, equipped with deep knowledge of model behavior and real-world applications.

Accelerating AI Integration and Outcomes

Wipro’s strategy emphasizes accelerating AI integration into client workflows to deliver clear, measurable outcomes, adopting a ‘proof over promise’ methodology. The Applied AI CoE for Claude will also serve as a hub for developing AI-native platforms and industry solutions for sectors such as Mortgage, Healthcare, Airlines, Manufacturing, and Consumer. Claude models will be embedded into Wipro’s platforms to foster co-innovation with clients in live environments and scale AI adoption internally across Wipro’s Finance, HR, and Sales functions.

Key Initiatives and Vision

A key differentiator of Wipro’s enterprise AI strategy is the planned certification of 10,000 Front-Line Delivery Experts on Claude usage within the next 18 months. This program aims to build a strong base of practitioners skilled in designing, deploying, and operating AI-enabled systems.
