Mr. Gumma brings a wealth of experience spanning over two decades in the retail sector. His career includes extensive work across food & grocery retail, B2B distribution, and large-format retail operations. He is an alumnus of the prestigious IIT Kharagpur and IIM Ahmedabad.
Previous Leadership Roles
Prior to joining Vishal Mega Mart, Mr. Gumma held prominent leadership positions. He most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of SPAR India. His earlier roles include Chief Operating Officer at Metro Cash & Carry India, Chief Business Officer at ElasticRun, and CEO of More Retail. Mr. Gumma is widely recognized for his expertise in retail operations, business transformation, and fostering sustainable growth.
