TCS Launches SovereignSecure Cloud™ in Europe
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced the expansion of its global cloud portfolio with the launch of SovereignSecure Cloud™ in Europe. This new offering is specifically tailored for governments, public sector enterprises, and regulated industries, aiming to deliver secure, compliant cloud architectures that enable true digital sovereignty for enterprises operating within the European Union (EU).
Key Features and Benefits
SovereignSecure Cloud™ for the EU is designed to provide strategic autonomy through a multi-layered approach. It integrates a sovereign cloud layer delivered via hyperscalers, offering scalability and adherence to EU regulatory frameworks. A national sovereign cloud layer provides country-specific localization and a unified control plane for operations. Furthermore, an enterprise cloud services layer leverages the EU-specific TCS Enterprise Cloud Framework to dynamically apply sovereignty levels across data, operations, and technology based on workload, risk, and sector.
This initiative aims to help European organizations achieve digital autonomy, strengthen regulatory compliance, and enhance security in a complex global environment without compromising on speed, agility, or interoperability. The launch builds on TCS’s previous successful rollouts of SovereignSecure Cloud™ in India in 2025 and subsequent expansions into Kenya, East Africa, and the Philippines.
Sovereignty Consulting and Delivery Framework
In conjunction with this launch, TCS is introducing the TCS Sovereignty Consulting and Delivery Framework in the EU. This framework assists organizations in becoming “minimum viable sovereign enterprises” by balancing control and flexibility. It adopts a practical, risk-based approach to categorize workloads by importance and apply the appropriate level of sovereignty, thereby focusing efforts on areas delivering the greatest impact and risk mitigation.
Commitment to European Market
Sapthagiri Chapalapalli, Head of Europe at TCS, highlighted that European organizations are seeking to balance supply chain and sovereignty risks with the leverage of frontier technologies. TCS SovereignSecure Cloud™ solutions represent a significant milestone in Europe, offering a pragmatic approach to cloud that ensures resilience and enterprise-contextualized sovereignty. With over 45 years of operating experience in Europe, TCS utilizes its network of 10 data centres and 21 delivery locations across the region to support digital transformation for leading multinationals.
Financial Performance Snapshot
As of the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, TCS generated consolidated revenues exceeding US $30 billion. The company is focused on becoming the world’s largest AI-led technology services company, enabling clients to transform across the full AI stack.
