Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has officially confirmed the appointment of Shri Brijesh Kumar Mishra to the senior management position of Group General Manager (GGM) / East Zone. Shri Mishra, an officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) from the 2006 batch, assumed his responsibilities effective May 25, 2026.

Professional Background and Expertise

With a career spanning more than two decades in the Indian Railways, Shri Mishra brings a wealth of operational knowledge to his new role. Prior to joining IRCTC, he served as CFTM/ER. His appointment is part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its regional leadership and maintain high standards of service in the East Zone.

Shri Mishra takes over the East Zone operations from Shri Anil Gupta, who previously held the position alongside his duties as GM(HR) and additional charge of GGM (MCS).
