Suzlon Energy Reports Robust Annual Performance with 54% Revenue Growth in FY26

Suzlon Energy has announced a strong financial performance for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026. The company achieved a consolidated annual revenue of ₹16,679 crore, marking a 54% increase year-on-year. The consolidated profit after tax grew by 53% to reach ₹3,163 crore. Suzlon also maintained a healthy net cash position of ₹2,384 crore, underscoring its improved financial flexibility and strong market execution for the year.

Annual Financial Highlights

Suzlon Energy has demonstrated significant growth for the full fiscal year ended March 31, 2026. The company reported a consolidated annual revenue of ₹16,679 crore, representing a 54% increase compared to the previous year. EBITDA for the same period stood at ₹3,022 crore, a 63% jump over FY25, while the annual profit after tax rose to ₹3,163 crore, achieving a 53% growth.

Quarterly Performance Review

The final quarter (January-March 2026) reflected strong momentum with a consolidated revenue of ₹5,468 crore, a 29% increase over the previous quarter. The company recorded a profit after tax of ₹1,114 crore for Q4, a significant 150% growth compared to the preceding quarter. This growth was driven by record annual and quarterly deliveries, with India deliveries reaching 2,456 MW annually and 830 MW in the final quarter.

Order Book and Strategic Outlook

The company enters the new fiscal year with a robust order book of ~5.9 GW. Notably, 66% of these orders are sourced from the PSU and C&I sectors. The flagship S144 wind turbine platform has emerged as a dominant market product, securing an cumulative order intake of ~9 GW. Additionally, the company has improved its net cash position to ₹2,384 crore as of March 31, 2026, providing a stable foundation to capitalize on future market opportunities in the renewable energy sector.

Operational Expansion

Suzlon continues to bolster its manufacturing footprint, reporting a domestic manufacturing capacity of 4,500 MW. Future plans include the construction of three new AI-enabled smart blade factories to further enhance production capabilities. With an installed base of over 15.7 GW in India and a global installation footprint, the company remains focused on operational excellence and consistent execution across its wind turbine and O&M business segments.
