Suzlon Energy Reports Robust Annual Performance with 54% Revenue Growth in FY26

Suzlon Energy has announced impressive financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026. The company reported a 54% year-on-year increase in revenue to ₹16,679 crore and a 67% jump in Profit Before Tax, reaching ₹2,422 crore. With a strong order book of ~5.9 GW and a net cash position of ₹2,384 crore, Suzlon continues to solidify its leadership in the Indian renewable energy sector.

FY26 Financial Highlights

For the full financial year 2026, Suzlon achieved significant operational milestones, reflecting consistent outperformance. The company reported consolidated revenue of ₹16,679 crore, a 54% increase over the previous year. Profitability also saw a strong uptick, with EBITDA rising 63% to ₹3,022 crore. The company’s consolidated net profit for the year stood at ₹3,163 crore, further strengthening its financial foundation.

Quarterly Performance Analysis

The final quarter, Q4 FY26 (January–March), demonstrated continued momentum. The company delivered 830 MW of wind capacity, contributing to a quarterly revenue of ₹5,468 crore, a 29% increase over the preceding Q3 FY26. The quarterly profit after tax reached ₹1,114 crore, marking a substantial 150% growth compared to the previous quarter.

Strategic Market Position and Outlook

Suzlon’s current order book has reached ~5.9 GW, with 66% of orders sourced from the PSU and C&I sectors. The company’s flagship S144 platform has gained significant traction in the market, securing an order intake of ~9 GW since its launch. With 15.7+ GW of installed base and an additional ~6 GW installed globally, Suzlon remains a dominant force in the industry.

Operational Achievements

The company achieved its highest-ever annual India deliveries of 2,456 MW in FY26. This execution capability is supported by a robust domestic manufacturing capacity of 4,500 MW across key windy states, including Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra. Furthermore, the company maintained a healthy net cash position of ₹2,384 crore as of March 31, 2026, providing the flexibility to pursue future growth opportunities in the expanding renewable energy market.
