Proximus Global (promoter company of Route Mobile) has launched Konera, its Network API Platform, at Global Fintech Fest 2025. Konera connects mobile operators, enterprises, and developers, offering tier-1 fintechs access to innovative network solutions. Aligned with GSMA’s CAMARA initiative, Konera integrates APIs from different mobile operators, giving enterprises easier access to communication features with global coverage. Konera will bring API availability to 92% of India by year-end.
Konera: Seamless Connectivity Platform
Proximus Global, a promoter company of Route Mobile, has introduced Konera, a global network API aggregation platform at Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2025. The platform aims to connect mobile operators, enterprises, and developers through an API ecosystem, thus facilitating access to innovative network-powered solutions for tier-1 fintechs. The announcement was made on October 7, 2025.
Key Features and Benefits
Konera aligns with the GSMA’s CAMARA standardization initiative, connecting networks and applications by integrating APIs from multiple mobile operators (MNOs) under a unified platform. This offers enterprises and developers simplified access to communication features with extensive global reach. The platform leverages Proximus Global’s established MNO Phone ID and intelligence API services from its Telesign brand, combined with 300+ MNO relationships from its BICS brand, enhancing growth potential in areas such as fintech.
India Focus and Expansion
Proximus Global aims to expand its enterprise offerings across India and the rest of the world through the trustworthy and scalable Konera platform. According to Rajdip Gupta, Managing Director & CEO of Route Mobile, India’s digital economy is primed for growth, creating a need for scalable, secure, and interoperable solutions. Konera is expected to bring API availability to 92% of India by the end of this year, through partnerships with major telecom networks and MNOs.
Market Opportunity
According to Analysys Mason, global spending on CAMARA-based network APIs is projected to increase by 1,282%, from USD$550 million in 2024 to USD$7.6 billion by 2030. This illustrates the substantial market opportunity and underscores the importance of Konera’s launch.

Jorn Vercamert, Chief Product Officer, Proximus Global, highlighted the importance of standardized and easily accessible APIs for the telecoms industry. He emphasized that Konera makes it easy for operators, enterprises, and developers to deliver, monetize, and consume new services, while addressing the needs for both standardization and support for making networks API-ready.
