The board has approved the appointment of Mr. Savan Jayendra Patel, Mr. Jayadeb Nanda, and Mr. Naresh Telgu as Additional Directors, effective May 22, 2026.

Executive and Independent Director Departures

The company confirmed the resignations of three key Executive Directors: Shri Sunil Kumar Sharma (Vice Chairman & Whole-time Director), Shri Suren Jain (Managing Director & CEO), and Shri Praveen Kumar Singh (Whole-time Director). Each resignation is effective from May 22, 2026.

Additionally, the company has accepted the resignations of two Independent Directors, Shri Dinesh Kumar Likhi and Prof. Suresh Chandra Saxena. Both individuals stepped down citing personal and professional commitments, confirming that there were no other material reasons for their departure.

  • Mr. Jayadeb Nanda: An industry veteran with over 34 years of experience, having previously served as the Chief Operating Officer at Adani Power and in senior roles at NTPC.
  • Mr. Naresh Telgu: An accomplished executive with over three decades in the energy sector, currently spearheading large-scale pumped storage and hydro projects for the Adani Group across global markets.
