Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has been awarded a significant contract by NMDC Limited for the development of a Railway Siding near Padapur Village. Valued at ₹758.07 crore, the project encompasses comprehensive services including civil works, bridge construction, road diversion, and detailed project engineering. This strategic order reinforces RVNL’s expertise in infrastructure development and is scheduled for execution over a period of 36 months.

Project Scope and Objectives

The contract entails end-to-end development services for the capacity expansion of the Bacheli facility. The project scope includes the preparation of Feasibility Study Reports (FSR), Detailed Project Reports (DPR), and detailed engineering. Furthermore, RVNL will be responsible for the execution of civil works, bridge construction, and PWD road diversion, along with providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services.

The contract, awarded by NMDC Limited, is valued at ₹758.07 crore, a figure that includes 18% GST. This project is considered a key development within the company’s normal course of business.
