GMM Pfaudler has announced significant leadership restructuring, effective May 21, 2026. Mr. Gregory Gelhaus has been appointed as the Group Chief Executive Officer and Key Managerial Personnel. Additionally, the company has strengthened its senior management team with the appointments of Mr. Ankit Nayyar as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Mr. Massimo Serapioni as CEO of Corrosion-Resistant Technologies, while Mr. Manish Shah and Mr. Ulf Wittman have transitioned out of their senior management roles.
Group Leadership Appointments
In a major shift for the organization, the Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Gregory Gelhaus as the Group Chief Executive Officer, effective May 21, 2026. Mr. Gelhaus, who previously served as the company’s Chief Transformation Officer since May 2025, brings extensive international experience to the role. His background includes leadership tenures at Global Blue, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Alvarez & Marsal. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Strengthening Senior Management
GMM Pfaudler has also expanded its senior management team to support ongoing growth initiatives:
- Mr. Ankit Nayyar joins as Deputy Chief Financial Officer. With a background in finance at PI Health Sciences, Pfizer, and Bayer & Monsanto, he brings significant expertise in M&A and global finance operations.
- Mr. Massimo Serapioni has been appointed as the CEO of the Corrosion-Resistant Technologies division. He previously spearheaded global recycling business units at Coperion and brings a strong record in operational efficiency and business integration.
Organizational Restructuring
As part of a broader shift in the organizational structure effective May 21, 2026, Mr. Manish Shah and Mr. Ulf Wittman have ceased to be Senior Management Personnel.
