Project Details and Infrastructure
The acquired entity is dedicated to the development of a wind-solar hybrid power generation facility. The project features a total capacity of 37.95 MWp DC / 25.30 MW AC solar energy combined with 27 MW AC wind power. This facility is specifically designed to meet the captive energy requirements of Grasim Industries, helping the organization manage power costs while adhering to domestic electricity laws.
Financials and Timeline
Grasim Industries will invest up to Rs. 30.60 crore in the SPV to secure its 26% shareholding. The transaction is expected to be completed within 180 days from the execution of the necessary Energy Supply and Shareholder Agreements. The company has confirmed that this transaction is not a related party deal and does not require additional governmental or regulatory approvals to proceed.
