TVS Motor Company Record Financial Performance for FY ’26

TVS Motor Company has achieved a historic performance in FY ’26, marked by record sales, revenue, and profit. The company reported a 24% growth in sales volume to 5.9 million units and a 30% increase in revenue to INR 47,270 crore. Operating PBT grew by 40% to INR 4,975 crore, with EBITDA margins expanding to 12.9%. The company remains focused on premiumization, international expansion, and strategic investment in electric vehicle capacity.

Record-Breaking Financial Results

TVS Motor Company concluded the 2025-2026 fiscal year with unprecedented growth across all key metrics. The company achieved its highest-ever annual revenue of INR 47,270 crore, representing a 30% year-on-year increase. Profitability also saw significant gains, with operating PBT rising to INR 4,975 crore (a 40% growth) and EBITDA reaching INR 6,079 crore, up 37%. For Q4 FY ’26 specifically, the company posted a record revenue of INR 12,808 crore and an EBITDA margin of 13.1%.

Segment Performance and Strategic Growth

Growth was driven by robust demand in both domestic and international markets. 2-wheeler ICE sales grew by 22%, while EV 2-wheeler sales climbed by 33% to 3.7 lakh units. The company’s international business also hit a record high of 15.8 lakh units, a 33% annual growth. Additionally, TVS Credit delivered a strong performance with a record PBT of INR 1,248 crore and a total book size of INR 30,631 crore.

Future Outlook and Investments

To sustain this growth momentum, TVS Motor is aggressively expanding its production capacity by another 1.5 million units, targeting a total capacity of approximately 8.3 million units. Strategic investments, including the development of Norton motorcycles and a Hyundai Motor Company partnership for electric 3-wheelers, remain central to the long-term growth strategy. Despite geopolitical and supply chain headwinds, the company is optimistic about FY ’27 and continues to focus on premiumization and cost-efficiency to maintain its growth trajectory.
