Indian Oil Corporation FY26 Annual Profit Surges to ₹36,802 Crore

Indian Oil Corporation reported robust financial results for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, achieving a net profit of ₹36,802.42 crore. The company’s annual revenue from operations reached ₹8,86,224.41 crore. Additionally, the Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹1.25 per equity share for the 2025-26 fiscal year, subject to shareholder approval, reflecting strong operational performance despite geopolitical challenges in the Middle East.

Strong Annual Financial Performance

Indian Oil Corporation has demonstrated significant financial growth for the fiscal year 2025-26. The company reported a net profit of ₹36,802.42 crore, compared to ₹12,961.57 crore in the previous year. Revenue from operations also saw healthy growth, reaching ₹8,86,224.41 crore, up from ₹8,45,512.61 crore in the previous fiscal period.

Dividend and Shareholder Value

In a move to reward shareholders, the Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹1.25 per equity share of face value ₹10 each for the 2025-26 financial year. This dividend is subject to approval at the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting. The company maintains a strong equity base, with paid-up equity share capital standing at ₹14,121.24 crore.

Segmental Highlights

The company’s core operations remain highly productive. The Petroleum Products segment continues to be the largest contributor, with a segment revenue of ₹8,30,555.76 crore for the year. The Petrochemicals and Gas segments also contributed significantly, with revenues of ₹28,102.02 crore and ₹44,512.15 crore respectively.

Strategic Resilience

Despite increased volatility in global crude oil prices due to conflicts in the Middle East region late in the fiscal year, Indian Oil Corporation maintained stable profitability. This was largely attributed to the company’s strategy of procuring inventory at normal price levels prior to the escalation of regional tensions. Furthermore, the company successfully processed 75.45 MMT of throughput in its refineries during the year.
