Afcons Infrastructure Key Board Reappointments and Senior Management Changes

Afcons Infrastructure Limited has announced the re-appointment of its executive leadership, with Mr. Subramanian Krishnamurthy confirmed as Executive Chairman and Mr. Srinivasan Paramasivan as Managing Director for a two-year term starting July 1, 2026. Additionally, the company is reshaping its senior management team, including the retirement of Mr. Gokul Javalikar and the elevation of Mr. Satish Tengeri to lead the Industrial Division, alongside the formal categorization of Mr. R. Ramkumar as Senior Management Personnel.

Executive Leadership Renewal

Afcons Infrastructure has confirmed the continuity of its top-tier management to drive future growth. The Board of Directors has approved the re-appointment of Mr. Subramanian Krishnamurthy as Whole-time Director and Executive Chairman, and Mr. Srinivasan Paramasivan as Managing Director. Both appointments are for a two-year term, effective from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028, pending approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.

Strategic Management Realignment

Following the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the company is implementing key structural changes in its senior management. Mr. Gokul Javalikar, who has led the Marine and Industrial Business Unit, will step down from his role on June 30, 2026, due to retirement.

To ensure continuity, Mr. Satish Tengeri, currently Executive Vice President (Operations), has been elevated to lead the Industrial Division effective July 1, 2026. Mr. Tengeri brings over four decades of experience to this role, having spearheaded significant projects including the Offshore Island Breakwater at Chhara Port and the Greater Malé Connectivity Project.

Strengthening the Legal and Contractual Framework

In addition to these shifts, Mr. R. Ramkumar, the Executive Vice President (Contracts & Legal), has been formally categorized as Senior Management Personnel effective May 18, 2026. Mr. Ramkumar has over 27 years of experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects across diverse sectors such as railways, highways, metro, and ports, further strengthening the company’s internal oversight and strategic contract management capabilities.
