Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd has confirmed that all manufacturing operations at its Haridwar sites in Uttarakhand have been fully restored to 100% capacity as of May 18, 2026. A temporary four-day disruption caused a supply delay of approximately INR 20 Cr. The company remains confident in its ability to recover this production loss through optimized operations in the coming weeks and clarified that no insurance claims will be filed as no property damage occurred.

Operations Successfully Restored

Following a brief period of operational suspension, Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals has successfully brought all manufacturing facilities in Haridwar back to 100% operational capacity. The normalization process was finalized on May 18, 2026, ensuring that all production lines are now functioning at full scale.

Impact of Temporary Disruption

The manufacturing disruption lasted for a total of four days. This pause resulted in a supply delay amounting to roughly INR 20 Cr. Despite this temporary setback, the company has officially confirmed that there was no physical damage to its property or infrastructure. Consequently, the company will not be filing any insurance claims related to this event.

Recovery Outlook

Looking ahead, the company is focused on mitigating the impact of the lost production time. Management has expressed confidence that the production gap will be bridged during the upcoming weeks. By ramping up output at its Uttarakhand facilities, the company expects to meet supply requirements and maintain its operational momentum for the remainder of the period.
