Delhivery has announced the appointment of Kabir Ahmed Shakir as an Additional Director in the capacity of Non-Executive Independent Director. The appointment is effective from May 16, 2026, for a five-year term, subject to shareholder approval. Mr. Shakir brings over 35 years of global leadership experience to the board, having previously served as the Global CFO of Tata Communications and holding senior financial roles at Microsoft India and Unilever.

In a strategic move to bolster its corporate governance and leadership expertise, Delhivery has inducted Kabir Ahmed Shakir onto its Board of Directors. His appointment as a Non-Executive Independent Director was approved by the Board following the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Mr. Shakir’s tenure is set for five years, spanning from May 16, 2026, to May 15, 2031.

Mr. Shakir is a highly accomplished executive with extensive experience across the technology, telecommunications, and consumer goods sectors. During his tenure as the Global CFO of Tata Communications, he was instrumental in the company being recognized as the ‘Turnaround Company of the Year’ by Forbes in 2023. His distinguished career also includes 23 years of service at Unilever across India and the UK, and a leadership role as CFO of Microsoft India.
