The total volume of shares sold amounts to 24,35,00,000 equity shares, each with a face value of Rs. 10. The shares were liquidated via open market transactions conducted in multiple phases, culminating on May 15, 2026.

Impact on Shareholding Pattern

Prior to this divestment, ICICI Bank held 68,33,61,064 equity shares in the company, accounting for 9.97% of the total voting capital. Following the disposal of the 3.55% stake, the bank’s current shareholding has been reduced to 43,98,61,064 equity shares, which represents 6.42% of the total equity share capital of Jaiprakash Power Ventures.

As per the latest disclosures, the equity share capital of Jaiprakash Power Ventures remains at Rs. 68,53,45,88,270, divided into 6,85,34,58,827 equity shares.
