Mr. Bosh, previously an Executive Director at REC and CEO of REC Power Development, will serve until his superannuation on May 31, 2029, or until further notice. Thangarajan Subash Chandira Bosh has been appointed as Director (Projects) at REC Limited, effective October 3, 2025. This appointment follows the communication from the Ministry of Power, Government of India, on the same date.
Term and Background
Mr. Bosh’s tenure as Director (Projects) will last until his superannuation date, which is May 31, 2029, or until further notice. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Executive Director at REC and Chief Executive Officer of REC Power Development & Consultancy Limited.
Extensive Experience
Mr. Bosh brings over 35 years of experience in the power sector. He previously played a key role in the implementation of major national electrification initiatives, including the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana and the Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana (Saubhagya) scheme.
Previous Roles at REC
In his former role as Executive Director (Engineering) at REC, Mr. Bosh oversaw the financing of power and infrastructure projects across both state-owned and private sector entities. He also implemented large-scale Power Transmission & Distribution projects for the Government of India. His strategic oversight includes Business Development, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Corporate Communications.
