Kirloskar Oil Engines Delivers Record-Breaking FY26 Financial Results

Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited (KOEL) reported a landmark fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. The company achieved its highest-ever standalone quarterly sales of ₹1,522 crore, marking a 24% year-on-year growth. For the full year, the company recorded a robust 25% net sales growth to ₹5,604 crore. Driven by strong performance across powergen and industrial segments, the board has proposed a total dividend of 350% for the fiscal year.

Record Financial Performance

Kirloskar Oil Engines has concluded FY26 on a high note, demonstrating significant growth across its core business segments. In the fourth quarter (January-March 2026), the company achieved standalone sales of ₹1,522 crore, a 24% increase over the same period last year. Annual standalone net sales reached ₹5,604 crore, reflecting a steady 25% growth. Profitability remains a key highlight, with the company maintaining double-digit EBITDA margins of 13.1% for the full year.

Strategic Business Highlights

The company attributed this success to a sharp focus on execution and market penetration. The Powergen segment reported strong performance across all horsepower segments, while the Industrial business gained momentum in the Marine, Railways, and Construction sectors through expanded OEM engagement. Furthermore, the Kirloskar Care service division has shown meaningful traction, and the company has successfully initiated a restructuring of its Fluid Dynamics business to drive operational efficiency.

Shareholder Returns and Future Outlook

Recognizing the strong financial performance, the Board of Directors has proposed a total dividend of 350% for the fiscal year. This includes a final dividend of 225% (₹4.50 per share), subject to shareholder approval, alongside the previously declared interim dividend of 125% (₹2.50 per share). Looking ahead, management remains committed to its ‘2B2B’ transformation goal, leveraging a diversified portfolio to ensure long-term value for investors and customers.
