G R Infraprojects Limited has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Munger Link Highway Private Limited, has signed a concession agreement with the National Highways Authority of India. The project involves the construction of a 4-lane Greenfield section of NH-33, connecting Mokama to Munger in Bihar. The estimated project cost is ₹2,440.87 crore, excluding GST, and will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM).

Project Details and Scope

The newly awarded contract focuses on the development of a 4-lane Greenfield highway, which is a strategic infrastructure project intended to enhance connectivity in the state of Bihar. The stretch spans from Mokama (Design Ch. 0+000) to Munger (Design Ch. 82+400), covering a significant distance of over 82 kilometers. This project will be executed using the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM), a model that balances construction risk and long-term maintenance.

Financials and Execution Timeline

The total estimated cost for this infrastructure development is ₹2,440.87 crore (excluding GST). The project was formalized following the execution of the concession agreement on May 14, 2026. According to the development schedule, the construction and operation timeframe is set at 910 days from the appointed date, marking a significant milestone for the company’s ongoing infrastructure portfolio in the eastern region of India.
