NTPC Green Energy Limited has expanded its operational footprint with the successful commissioning of additional solar capacities. The projects, both located in Rajasthan, are being executed under the company’s joint venture, ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited.
Details of the Solar Additions
The company has achieved commercial operation for two specific project segments effective from 00:00 hours on May 15, 2026:
- Project Eleven Renewable Power Private Limited: Added 12.5 MW, bringing the cumulative capacity of this specific project to 100 MW.
- Project Sixteen Renewable Power Private Limited: Added 50 MW, bringing the cumulative capacity of this specific project to 200 MW.
Strategic Growth Impact
Following these developments, the total installed capacity for the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group has risen to 10,516.40 MW, up from the previous capacity of 10,453.90 MW.
