Financial Performance Overview

For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, the company achieved a consolidated annual revenue of Rs. 8,096 Cr, marking a 3% growth over the previous year. The fourth quarter performance was particularly robust, with consolidated revenue reaching Rs. 2,283 Cr, representing a 10.8% YoY growth, and an EBITDA margin of 11.9%. The annual PAT was impacted by a one-time non-cash impairment charge of Rs. 716 Cr to align the carrying value of its investment in Butterfly, though the company emphasized that this does not affect the long-term business trajectory.

Segment-Wise Highlights

The Electrical Consumer Durables (ECD) segment saw an acceleration with 9.5% YoY revenue growth, driven by solid performance in pumps, small domestic appliances, and a recovery in the fans category. The Lighting division demonstrated industry-leading growth of 14.3% YoY, achieving its highest annual revenues in six years. Additionally, the Butterfly business recorded a strong revenue increase of 16.6% for the quarter, bolstered by high demand for electric cooking solutions.

Strategic Initiatives and Future Outlook

Under the Crompton 2.0 strategy, the company continues to focus on innovation and premiumization. Notable developments include the launch of Crompton Armor residential wires in March 2026 and the introduction of a new super-premium brand, Crompton Rhion. Management highlighted that despite a challenging operating environment, disciplined investments in brand building and R&D have generated strong consumer interest and improved market positioning across its core categories.
