DCM Shriram Strong FY26 Performance Driven by Strategic Expansion

DCM Shriram Ltd. has reported a resilient performance for FY 2025–26, with consolidated net revenue reaching ₹14,264 crore, a 12% increase over the previous year. Profit After Tax (PAT) grew by 42% to ₹856 crore, supported by robust volume growth in its Chemicals business, Fenesta Building Systems, and Shriram Farm Solutions. The company continues to focus on value-chain integration, strategic partnerships, and capacity optimization to navigate a dynamic global economic environment.

Financial Highlights of the Year

For the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, the company achieved consolidated net revenue of ₹14,264 crore. The consolidated PBDIT stood at ₹1,694 crore, marking a 15% growth. The significant 42% rise in PAT to ₹856 crore includes a one-time deferred tax credit of ₹239 crore. In the final quarter (Q4 FY26, Jan–Mar), net revenue reached ₹3,373 crore, with PAT increasing to ₹371 crore compared to ₹179 crore in Q4 FY25. Reflecting this performance, the Board has recommended a final dividend of 200%.

Strategic Business Growth

The Chemicals & Vinyl business saw strong growth, with caustic soda volumes rising 12%. A key milestone was the full commissioning of the 52,000 TPA Epichlorohydrin (ECH) plant in April 2026. Furthermore, the acquisition of Hindusthan Speciality Chemicals Limited has accelerated the company’s entry into the epoxy and formulated resins market. In the Vinyl segment, a strategic partnership was formed through the divestment of a 50% stake in Shriram Polytech Ltd. to Teknor Apex B.V.

Consumer and Agri-Business Milestones

Fenesta Building Systems achieved a major revenue milestone of ₹1,112 crore, representing 28% growth. Its order book expanded by 24% to ₹1,498 crore. Simultaneously, Shriram Farm Solutions delivered double-digit revenue growth of 18%, reaching ₹1,689 crore, anchored by record-breaking sales in the Research Wheat segment. The company remains committed to sustainability, with green energy now accounting for 27% of its total energy consumption.
