Metropolis Healthcare Reports Strong Financial Growth for Q4 and FY26

Metropolis Healthcare Limited has announced robust financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026. The group reported a 24% year-on-year revenue growth for FY26, reaching INR 1,646 crore, supported by both strong organic performance and successful strategic acquisitions. The company’s focus on specialty diagnostics, network expansion into nearly 750 towns, and digital transformation initiatives has significantly enhanced its operational profitability and market presence.

Financial Highlights

Metropolis Healthcare demonstrated impressive growth throughout FY26. The company achieved a consolidated annual revenue of INR 1,646 crore, a 24% increase over the previous year. Annual profit after tax (PAT) rose by 31% to INR 191 crore. For the fourth quarter (Q4FY26), revenue reached INR 425 crore, marking a 23% year-on-year growth, while quarterly PAT surged by 75% to INR 51 crore.

Strategic Growth Drivers

The company’s growth strategy has been multi-pronged. The focus on specialty diagnostics contributed to a 16% revenue growth in this segment for FY26. Furthermore, the TruHealth wellness segment saw a 21% revenue growth, driven by digital acceleration and a rising demand for premium health bundles. The company successfully expanded its service network, now covering approximately 750 towns, with 490 new centres added during the fiscal year.

Integration and Operational Excellence

Metropolis has successfully integrated recent acquisitions including DAPIC (Dehradun), Scientific Pathology (Agra), and Ambika Pathology (Kolhapur), which contributed 8% to the total revenue for FY26. The integration of Core Diagnostics is expected to be finalized by Q1FY27. Operational leverage and efficiency gains led to significant margin expansion, with the company maintaining a strong commitment to quality, backed by a 99.99% report accuracy rate across its laboratory network.

Future Outlook

Under its Metropolis 3.0 strategy, the company remains focused on strengthening its core business, expanding into adjacencies like radiology and primary healthcare, and fostering sustainability. By continuing its digital transformation efforts, including AI-led initiatives and an enhanced partner portal, Metropolis aims to maintain its momentum as the fastest-growing diagnostics company within the national chains segment.
