Castrol India: VinFast India Signs MoU to Strengthen EV After-Sales Service

Castrol India and VinFast Auto India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide reliable after-sales support for VinFast’s EV customers. Castrol will make selected Castrol Auto Service (CAS) workshops available to VinFast customers, featuring dedicated service bays and certified EV technicians. This collaboration aims to build customer confidence and support India’s transition to sustainable mobility. The agreement was announced on September 29, 2025.

Strategic Partnership for EV Service

Castrol India and VinFast Auto India have entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focused on bolstering after-sales service for electric vehicles (EVs) across India. The collaboration was formally announced on September 29, 2025, and signifies a commitment to supporting the growing EV market.

Key Highlights of the MoU

Under the agreement, select Castrol Auto Service (CAS) workshops, from Castrol’s network of over 750 CAS workshops in 300+ cities, will be made available to VinFast customers. These locations will feature dedicated, VinFast-branded service areas, certified EV technicians, and authentic VinFast parts.

Enhanced Customer Service

VinFast will supply service manuals, diagnostic instruments, training programs, and warranty coverage procedures, while Castrol will ensure that workshops meet essential infrastructure and capability standards. This collaboration is intended to grant VinFast clients access to Castrol’s established expertise, advanced service procedures, and an integrated workshop ecosystem, thus ensuring consistent quality and convenience.

Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, emphasized that India represents a long-term commitment to building an inclusive EV ecosystem, and reliable after-sales care is central to this vision. Mr. Rajeev Govil, Senior Vice President, India B2B, Castrol India, noted the crucial role of after-sales service in building customer confidence as electric mobility grows in India.
