Yatharth Hospital Strategic Acquisition of New 250-Bed Facility in Gurugram

Yatharth Hospital and Trauma Care Services Limited has announced its entry into the Gurugram healthcare market through the ~INR 100 crore acquisition of an under-construction 250-bed hospital. Located in Sector 40, this facility will require an additional ~INR 100 crore investment to complete construction and procure state-of-the-art medical equipment. The move aligns with the company’s strategy to scale its presence in high-growth regions and cater to rising demand for tertiary and quaternary care.

Strategic Expansion in NCR

On May 13, 2026, Yatharth Hospitals confirmed a significant step in its growth trajectory with the acquisition of a prime healthcare asset in Central Gurugram. The facility is situated in a high-income catchment area with excellent proximity to both residential hubs and corporate corridors, including the IGI airport, positioning it to serve a diverse domestic and international patient base.

Investment and Project Scope

The total capital commitment for this project is estimated at ~INR 200 crore. This includes the initial acquisition cost of ~INR 100 crore, followed by a dedicated outlay of another ~INR 100 crore earmarked for final construction phases and the installation of advanced medical technology. Once operational, the hospital will add 250 beds to Yatharth’s existing network, which currently boasts an overall announced capacity of approximately 3,250 beds across North India.

Strengthening Clinical Excellence

Management emphasized that this acquisition underscores a disciplined approach to network scaling and capital deployment. By integrating this new facility into its robust infrastructure—which already spans regions like Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, and Jhansi-Orchha—the company aims to further solidify its reputation for delivering high-quality, patient-centric care. This expansion serves as a key pillar in the group’s ongoing mission to enhance accessibility to advanced healthcare services in urban centers.
