Profit after tax reached INR 27 billion, reflecting a 32% increase, while the company continued its strategic expansion under Project Spring to drive long-term growth and market share gains.
Financial Milestones and Profitability
Polycab India delivered a landmark year in FY26, setting new records in revenue, EBITDA, and PAT. Annual revenue crossed the INR 285 billion milestone, growing by 29% year-on-year. EBITDA margins expanded to 13.9%, with the company maintaining its position as the most profitable entity in the electrical industry for the fourth consecutive year. The net cash position strengthened to INR 41.9 billion, supporting a proposed dividend of INR 47 per share.
Segment Performance
The Wires and Cables segment continued to lead, delivering 30% growth during the final quarter despite supply chain volatility. The company expanded its domestic market share in organized wires and cables to 30-31%. Simultaneously, the FMEG (Fast Moving Electrical Goods) segment registered an exceptional 47% growth for the quarter, driven by strong demand for premium fans, lighting solutions, and the solar business, which emerged as the largest category within the FMEG portfolio.
Strategic Growth and Outlook
The company remains steadfast in its Project Spring strategy. Capital expenditure for the full year reached INR 14.8 billion, supporting capacity expansion. While geopolitical developments in the Middle East caused temporary moderation in export demand during Q4, Polycab is actively re-establishing its distribution network in the United States and other global markets. Management remains optimistic about the next 24-36 months, citing robust demand drivers from India’s infrastructure development, power sector capacity additions, and data center growth.
