Gravita India Ltd. Strong Performance in FY 2026 and Strategic Expansion Plans

Gravita India Ltd. reported a strong performance for the financial year ending March 31, 2026. The company achieved a standalone net profit of ₹297.02 crore and a consolidated net profit of ₹378.33 crore. In a major strategic move, the board approved an investment of ₹160 crore to set up a new copper recycling plant in Mandvi, Gujarat, aimed at business diversification and long-term shareholder value creation.

Financial Highlights

For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, Gravita India reported a standalone revenue from operations of ₹3,481.37 crore. The consolidated revenue for the same period stood at ₹4,265.27 crore. The company demonstrated significant year-on-year growth compared to the previous fiscal, reflecting robust operational performance across its business segments.

Strategic Expansion and Operational Updates

The Board of Directors has approved the establishment of a new copper recycling plant at Mandvi, Gujarat, with an approximate capital expenditure of ₹160 crore. This initiative is designed to drive strategic business diversification, enable the monetization of existing land assets, and optimize operational efficiency.

Additionally, the company has announced the voluntary closure of its subsidiary, Recycling Infotech LLP, which contributed nil to the company’s total turnover in the last financial year.

Governance and Auditing

As part of its commitment to strong corporate governance, the company has appointed Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP as the new internal auditor for the financial year 2026-27. They succeed PricewaterhouseCoopers Services LLP (PwC), following the completion of their tenure.

Acquisition of Rashtriya Metal Industries

During the current year, Gravita successfully acquired a 98.95% equity stake in Rashtriya Metal Industries Limited (RMIL) for an aggregate consideration of ₹559.08 crore. This acquisition, finalized on March 12, 2026, provides the company with an integrated manufacturing facility for copper and copper alloy products in Sarigam, Gujarat.
