Jindal SAW Ltd. 41st Annual General Meeting and Annual Report 2025-26

Jindal SAW Ltd. has released its Annual Report for FY 2025-26, detailing a challenging operational year marked by geopolitical tensions and supply chain disruptions. Despite a ₹2.4 billion turnover and a robust order book, the company faced significant headwinds that impacted its financial performance. The company remains committed to its core businesses of iron and steel pipes and pellets, while continuing its focus on sustainability and its 3R’s initiative (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).

Financial Performance Overview

For the financial year 2025-26, Jindal SAW Ltd. reported a revenue from operations of ₹14,62,013.40 lakhs on a standalone basis, compared to ₹17,93,615.91 lakhs in the previous year. Profit after tax for the same period stood at ₹78,398.57 lakhs. The company cited border tensions and a liquidity crisis among contractors under the Jal Jeevan Mission as key factors behind the subdued performance and lower production volumes.

Strategic Global Expansion

Jindal SAW is actively expanding its global footprint. Key developments include the establishment of a 300,000 TPA seamless pipe facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and new joint ventures in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to manufacture SAW and ductile iron pipes. These moves are aimed at capturing premium markets in the GCC and MENA regions, bolstering the company’s long-term growth and energy security initiatives.

Sustainability and Core Values

Sustainability remains at the heart of Jindal SAW’s operations. The company’s Bhilwara pellet plant continues to set industry benchmarks, operating at 40% lower energy consumption than the national average. By integrating treated sewage water into its manufacturing and mining processes, the company reinforces its leadership in energy-efficient production and its commitment to the 3R’s initiative: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.

Commitment to Inclusion and Accessibility

Through its CSR initiative, Svayam, the company reached a significant milestone, celebrating 25 years of promoting accessibility and inclusion. In FY 2025-26, Svayam’s interventions impacted over 25 million individuals, including through accessibility audits at major sporting events and large-scale public festivals like Durga Puja, reinforcing the company’s dedication to creating a more inclusive society.
