Adani Green Energy Incorporation of New Step-Down Subsidiaries

Adani Green Energy Limited has announced the successful incorporation of two new wholly-owned step-down subsidiaries: ARE64L Step-One Renewable Energy Limited and ARE64L Step-Two Renewable Energy Limited. Both entities were incorporated on May 7, 2026, under the subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Sixty Four Limited. These new firms will focus on the generation of power using renewable energy sources, further strengthening the company’s footprint in the green energy sector.

Strategic Expansion in Renewable Energy

On May 7, 2026, Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) expanded its corporate structure by incorporating two new subsidiary entities. The step-down subsidiaries, ARE64S1L and ARE64S2L, were established under the parent umbrella of Adani Renewable Energy Sixty Four Limited (ARE64L). This move is part of the company’s broader objective to scale its renewable power generation capabilities.

Details on the New Entities

The newly formed companies are dedicated to the generation of power through renewable sources. As wholly-owned subsidiaries of ARE64L, these entities operate within the established renewable energy framework of the Adani group. Each entity has been incorporated with an authorized capital of INR 1,00,000.

Ownership Structure

The shareholding structure is designed to align with the company’s project-based approach. Adani Green Energy Limited maintains a 50% stake in the intermediate subsidiary, ARE64L. Consequently, ARE64L holds full control of the newly incorporated ARE64S1L and ARE64S2L, ensuring that these projects remain effectively integrated into the group’s wider renewable energy operations.
