On a consolidated basis, CESC Limited showcased robust growth for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026. The group recorded total revenue of ₹18,570 crore for the year, significantly up from ₹17,001 crore in the previous year. The consolidated net profit for the year reached ₹1,618 crore, compared to ₹1,429 crore in the prior period. Earnings per share (EPS) for the year stood at ₹11.63.

Leadership and Governance Updates

During the board meeting held on May 6, 2026, the directors approved the continuation of Mr. Paras Kumar Chowdhary as a Non-Executive/Independent Director. Mr. Chowdhary, who will attain the age of 75 on October 1, 2026, brings over 45 years of professional experience in strategy, finance, and marketing. This continuation of his directorship is subject to approval by shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.
