Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABD) has been honored with the Best Factory/Management Award for its integrated manufacturing facility in Rangapur, Telangana. Conferred by the state’s Labour Department on May 1, 2026, this recognition highlights the company’s excellence in manufacturing, safety standards, and employee welfare. The facility, which currently employs 1,500 people with a notable 50% female workforce, remains a key driver for the company’s regional economic contribution and operational growth.

Award for Operational Excellence

The integrated manufacturing facility at Rangapur has been recognized for its outstanding performance in management and manufacturing standards. This prestigious award, presented during Labour Day celebrations on May 1, 2026, acknowledges the plant’s adherence to safety protocols, statutory compliance, and dedication to employee welfare. The evaluation was conducted by the Labour, Employment, Training & Factories Department of the Government of Telangana.

Strategic Facility Infrastructure

Since its commissioning, the Rangapur facility has become a cornerstone of ABD’s production strategy. The site integrates an ENA distillery, an IMFL bottling unit, and a PET bottle manufacturing plant. These capabilities provide the company with significant oversight of its supply chain, production cycles, and overall cost structures.

Workforce and Future Growth

The facility currently supports approximately 1,500 employees and is widely recognized for its commitment to gender diversity, with women representing 50% of the total workforce. Looking ahead, ABD plans to further scale its infrastructure with an upcoming malt distillery. This strategic expansion is designed to bolster the company’s premium spirit portfolio and solidify its capabilities in single malt production, further contributing to regional employment and economic development.
