As part of its ongoing commitment to green energy integration, DCM Shriram has achieved a significant milestone at its Kota Complex. The company has officially commenced the injection of renewable power for part of its planned capacity, reaching an average of ~15 MW. This development follows the company’s previous commitment announced on December 9, 2024, to transition away from traditional energy sources.

Strategic Project Overview

The project is being executed through a strategic partnership with JSW Renew Energy Thirty Two Limited. The primary objective of this hybrid wind-solar initiative is to replace 40 MW of existing coal-based power consumption with clean, renewable alternatives. Once fully operational, the project will have a total capacity of ~68 MW, with an average output of ~34 MW, marking a substantial reduction in the company’s carbon footprint and energy costs.
