Waaree Energies Ltd Robust Financial Results and Strategic Expansion Plans

Waaree Energies Ltd has reported strong performance for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, with consolidated revenue of ₹26,536.77 crore. The company has announced a final dividend of ₹2 per share and revealed ambitious capital raising plans of up to ₹10,000 crore. Additionally, the company is bolstering its strategic presence in the semiconductor sector through the acquisition of Waaree Semicon Private Limited.

Financial Highlights

For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, the company achieved a consolidated net profit of ₹3,884.15 crore, reflecting significant growth compared to the previous year’s ₹1,928.13 crore. Consolidated revenue from operations stood at ₹26,536.77 crore. For the final quarter (Q4, Jan-Mar 2026), the company recorded a net profit of ₹1,126.26 crore on revenues of ₹8,480.25 crore.

Dividend and Capital Raising

Reflecting its strong liquidity and growth outlook, the Board has recommended a final dividend of ₹2 per equity share (20% of face value) for the year, subject to shareholder approval. To support future growth, the company plans to raise up to ₹10,000 crore through the issuance of equity shares, non-convertible debentures, or other eligible securities, including potential Qualified Institutional Placements (QIP).

Strategic Acquisition

Waaree Energies is expanding its footprint into the semiconductor manufacturing space by acquiring 100% shareholding in Waaree Semicon Private Limited. This move is designed to integrate semiconductor capabilities into the company’s existing power electronics and renewable energy solutions. The initial focus will be on packaging and assembly (OSAT) capabilities for power semiconductor devices, including IGBTs and MOSFETs, which are critical for electric vehicles and energy storage systems.

Audit and Operational Updates

The company maintains a focus on governance, re-appointing V J Talati & Co. as Cost Auditor and Mahajan and Aibara as Internal Auditor for the 2026-27 financial year. Operations continue to grow, with subsidiary Waaree Solar Americas Inc. benefiting from manufacturing credits in the United States under the Inflation Reduction Act.
