LT Foods has partnered with KidZania India to launch an immersive DAAWAT® Factory experience. Designed for children aged 4 to 14 years, this educational initiative offers an engaging journey from farm to fork. The experience highlights the precision, science, and craftsmanship involved in the production of the world-renowned Basmati rice brand, fostering brand connection and industry understanding among young learners at the edutainment hub.
Bridging Food Science and Edutainment
LT Foods, a billion-dollar global FMCG leader, has officially unveiled its flagship DAAWAT® Factory at KidZania India. As a first-of-its-kind experiential centre, the installation serves to educate young minds on the intricate processes behind global food production. The collaboration is designed to translate the complex journey of Basmati rice—from paddy procurement to final packaging—into a tangible, interactive narrative for children.
The KidZania Experience
During the 25-minute engagement, children take on the role of Production Engineers. They work in teams to navigate the full processing line, performing critical quality checks and operating machinery. This role-play format aims to instill values of quality, innovation, and responsibility at an early age. Upon completion, participants receive a 200g pack of DAAWAT® and a digital certificate, serving as a reminder of their hands-on educational experience.
Leadership Perspective on Brand Affinity
Mr. Ashwani Arora, Managing Director & CEO of LT Foods, stated that the initiative is part of a broader commitment to fostering deeper connections between consumers and their food. By showcasing stages such as ageing, de-husking, and colour sorting, the company provides a window into the professional care behind every packet. KidZania’s model allows the brand to engage with families in a safe, dynamic, and educational environment, strengthening long-term affinity for the DAAWAT® brand.
Growth and Operational Footprint
This partnership comes as LT Foods continues to demonstrate strong financial performance, reporting a consolidated revenue of approximately Rs. 8,773 crores as of FY’25. The company maintains a consistent growth trajectory with a 5-year Revenue CAGR of 16% and a PAT CAGR of 21%. With an integrated ‘Farm to Fork’ approach and a global distribution network spanning over 80 countries, LT Foods leverages such strategic collaborations to reinforce its position as a global leader in the specialty rice market.
