RailTel Secures ₹20.35 Crore Contract for Himachal Pradesh Education System

The project involves the establishment of a state-of-the-art MIS-Central Dashboard System for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the state. This contract, valued at Rs. 20,35,24,096 including tax, is scheduled for execution by April 27, 2031, marking a significant step in the company’s efforts to digitize educational infrastructure.

Boosting Digital Infrastructure

RailTel continues to strengthen its footprint in the public sector digital transformation space by bagging a new order from the Directorate of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh. The project focuses on deploying an MIS-Central Dashboard System designed to streamline management and reporting for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) within the state. This initiative is expected to significantly improve the operational oversight and data management capabilities of the educational department.

Contract Details and Timeline

The total value of this domestic contract is Rs. 20,35,24,096, which is inclusive of applicable taxes. The work order was officially received by the company on April 27, 2026. According to the project roadmap, the implementation and execution phase is spread over a five-year window, with a completion deadline set for April 27, 2031. This win represents a strategic addition to RailTel’s order book, further diversifying its portfolio of government-led technology projects.
