Jindal Saw Ltd. has announced an expansion of its manufacturing footprint in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Building upon previously approved plans for a Helically Spiral welded (HSAW) pipe project, the company’s Board of Directors has now approved an additional LSAW facility. This strategic move aims to meet the rising demand for high-quality pipes in the region, operating through its joint venture, Jindal Saw & Buhur Altavision Co.
Strategic Expansion in KSA
On April 27, 2026, the Board of Directors of Jindal Saw Ltd. approved the establishment of an additional plant to house an LSAW (Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded) facility. This expansion is designed to address the growing demand for industrial-grade pipes within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Strengthening Joint Venture Operations
The new LSAW unit will operate under the company’s existing joint venture, Jindal Saw & Buhur Altavision Co. This development complements the previously announced HSAW pipe project, allowing the company to offer a more comprehensive product portfolio to its regional client base. By increasing its local manufacturing capabilities, Jindal Saw strengthens its operational presence and logistics efficiency in the Middle Eastern market.
