KEC International Ltd. Leadership Changes in Civil Business Unit

KEC International Ltd. has announced a strategic shift in its senior management team for the Civil business unit. Effective April 27, 2026, Mr. Raman Kapil has been appointed as the new President of the Civil division. This transition coincides with the upcoming superannuation of the current Executive Director, Mr. Nagesh Veeturi, who is scheduled to step down from his role on May 31, 2026.

Strengthening the Leadership Team

As part of its organizational transition, KEC International has brought on Mr. Raman Kapil to lead its Civil business segment. Mr. Kapil joins the firm with over 33 years of global experience in the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and infrastructure sectors. His extensive background spans transportation, urban development, power, and heavy civil construction, with a strong focus on business transformation and operational excellence.

Executive Profile

Before joining KEC International, Mr. Raman Kapil held the position of President & COO for the Buildings & Infrastructure strategic business group at Tata Projects Limited. His professional history also includes a tenure as a Project Director at Hindustan Construction Company (HCC), alongside previous roles with international and domestic entities such as LTA Singapore and Jaiprakash Industries. He holds an Executive MBA from ITM Mumbai and a degree in Civil Engineering from R.V. College of Engineering.

Leadership Succession Plan

The appointment comes ahead of the planned superannuation of Mr. Nagesh Veeturi, who currently serves as the Executive Director – Civil. Mr. Veeturi will officially conclude his tenure and retire from the company on May 31, 2026. The company has structured this transition to ensure operational continuity within its key infrastructure project vertical.
