Tata Elxsi Management Transition Announced for Chief Financial Officer Role

Tata Elxsi has announced a strategic change in its leadership team. Mr. Gaurav Bajaj will step down from his role as Chief Financial Officer, effective May 29, 2026, to pursue new professional opportunities. Succeeding him, Mr. Nalin Rana has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer, effective May 30, 2026. Mr. Rana brings extensive experience in strategic finance and investment banking to the company’s executive leadership team.

Leadership Transition Details

Tata Elxsi has formally confirmed the resignation of its Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Gaurav Bajaj, who will be relieved of his responsibilities at the close of business hours on May 29, 2026. The board has expressed its appreciation for Mr. Bajaj’s contributions during his tenure with the company.

Appointment of New CFO

Following the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the board has approved the appointment of Mr. Nalin Rana as the new Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Rana is scheduled to join the organization on May 15, 2026, with his official appointment as CFO taking effect on May 30, 2026.

Professional Background of Nalin Rana

Mr. Nalin Rana joins Tata Elxsi with over 17 years of diversified experience in strategic finance, corporate strategy, and business planning. Before this appointment, he held a leadership position within the Group CFO and Group Strategy Office at Tata Sons. His extensive career also includes a tenure as an Executive Director at Standard Chartered Bank, where he advised global clients on mergers, acquisitions, and fund-raising transactions exceeding US$ 15 billion. Mr. Rana holds a post-graduate management degree from the Indian Institute of Management Indore and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Silchar.
