Following a meeting of the Board of Directors on April 25, 2026, Axis Bank has formally designated two senior officials as part of its Senior Management Personnel. Leadership Profiles

Sanjeev Moghe, serving as President and Head of Branch Banking (South), will continue to lead the Bank’s Branch Control Unit. With an extensive background in cards, payments, and retail financial services—including prior roles at Citigroup and Bajaj Finance—Moghe brings a track record of scaling consumer businesses with an emphasis on profitable growth and risk management.

Avinash Raghavendra, serving as President and Head of Information Technology and Retail Operations, brings nearly three decades of experience to his expanded role. His expertise lies in modernizing core banking platforms, advancing digital and payments infrastructure, and ensuring organizational resilience at scale. Raghavendra is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and holds advanced degrees from the University of Mumbai.
