Reliance Industries Limited Reports Record Financial Performance for Fiscal Year 2026

Reliance Industries Limited has announced record-breaking financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026. The company achieved annual consolidated revenue of ₹1,175,919 crore, up 9.8%, and a record net profit of ₹95,610 crore, representing an 18.3% year-on-year increase. These results were driven by robust performance across Jio Platforms and Reliance Retail, alongside steady contributions from the Oil to Chemicals and Oil and Gas segments.

Record Annual Financial Performance

Reliance Industries delivered strong growth for FY2026. Annual consolidated EBITDA surged by 13.4% to reach ₹207,911 crore. The Board of Directors has recommended a dividend of ₹6 per share for its shareholders. The company’s capital expenditure for the year stood at ₹144,271 crore, reflecting continued investment in growth projects, particularly in the New Energy business and network infrastructure for Jio and Retail.

Jio Platforms: Digital Expansion

Jio Platforms reported a strong year with revenue increasing by 14.7% and EBITDA growing by 18.8%. The total subscriber base has exceeded 524 million, supported by 268 million 5G subscribers. Jio AirFiber remains a key growth driver, contributing to more than 75% of the fixed broadband additions during the year, with a total base of approximately 13 million subscribers.

Reliance Retail: Omni-Channel Growth

Reliance Retail achieved an annual revenue of ₹370,026 crore, up 11.8% year-on-year. The business added 1,564 new stores, bringing the total store count to 20,160. With 387 million registered customers and 1.93 billion annual transactions, the retail division highlighted a structural shift toward hyper-local commerce, which saw orders grow by more than four-fold year-on-year.

Energy and Media Segments

The Oil to Chemicals (O2C) segment recorded annual revenue of ₹662,401 crore, up 5.7%, supported by strong transportation fuel cracks and efficient feedstock sourcing. Meanwhile, the new JioStar business demonstrated strong momentum, reporting ₹9,784 crore in revenue for the fourth quarter. JioHotstar reached a global record with 72.5 million peak concurrency during the T20 Men’s Cricket World Cup Final and averaged 500 million monthly active users during the quarter.
