Shri Arun Agarwal, who served as a Government Nominee Director representing the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), has stepped down from his position. The cessation of his directorship is effective as of April 24, 2026, following his relief from duties at the Department of Telecommunications.
Director Resignation
ITI Limited confirmed that Shri Arun Agarwal has ceased to be a member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Agarwal, who held the position of DDG (Sat.) at the Department of Telecommunications, served the company in the capacity of a Government Nominee Director. His departure from the board is formalised effective April 24, 2026.
Reason for Departure
The company stated that this change in leadership follows an official communication received from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) dated April 23, 2026. Mr. Agarwal has been relieved from his responsibilities within the Department of Telecommunications, which subsequently resulted in his transition away from the role of Director at ITI Limited.
