The company’s wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A Limited, has officially commissioned a 292 MW solar power plant located in the Khavda region of Gujarat. This project is a key component of the company’s broader strategy to scale its utility-scale solar and wind energy assets.
Portfolio Milestone
Following the successful commissioning of this plant, AGEL has reached a major operational milestone. The company now boasts a total operational renewable generation capacity of 19,585.8 MW. Additionally, the company continues to maintain a significant footprint in energy storage solutions, with a total operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity of 1,376 MWh.
Commencement of Operations
The decision to move forward with full-scale operations was finalized on April 22, 2026, following the receipt of all necessary clearances. The plant is scheduled to officially commence power generation on April 23, 2026, contributing to the regional energy grid and supporting the nation’s transition toward sustainable energy sources.
