Kajaria Ceramics has announced a strategic change in its senior management team, appointing Mr. Ipininder Singh as the Group Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO). Effective April 23, 2026, this transition aims to drive the company’s digital transformation efforts. As part of this organizational realignment, Mr. Atul Nigam, the current VP (IT), will transition to a new reporting structure under the newly appointed CDIO while continuing in his existing role.
Strengthening Digital Capabilities
To bolster its focus on technological innovation and enterprise transformation, Kajaria Ceramics has officially appointed Mr. Ipininder Singh as the Group Chief Digital and Information Officer. With an extensive professional background spanning over 24 years, Mr. Singh brings a wealth of expertise in driving digital strategies and enterprise-wide technology integration. He holds an MBA from IIT Delhi and a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering, having previously held key roles at major organizations including Havells India, Convergys India, and Dalmia Bharat.
Organizational Realignment
The appointment, which takes effect on April 23, 2026, marks a shift in the company’s reporting structure. Mr. Atul Nigam, who has served as the VP (IT), will move out of the senior management category to align with the new leadership structure. Importantly, Mr. Atul Nigam will continue to serve as the VP (IT) and will now report directly to the newly appointed CDIO, ensuring continuity in the company’s ongoing IT operations and digital projects.
