HCLTech Appointment of Ms. Kimsuka Narsimhan as Independent Director

HCLTech has announced the appointment of Ms. Kimsuka Narsimhan as an Independent Director to its Board, effective April 20, 2026. With over 35 years of leadership experience in finance and strategy, Narsimhan will contribute to the company’s growth and corporate governance. Alongside this appointment, she has been named a member of the Audit and Risk Management Committees, further strengthening the board’s expertise as HCLTech advances its AI and digital technology initiatives.

Strengthening Board Expertise

HCLTech has officially appointed Ms. Kimsuka Narsimhan to its Board of Directors for a term of five consecutive years, concluding on April 19, 2031. A Chartered and Cost Accountant by qualification, Narsimhan brings extensive global expertise to the organization, having held key leadership roles at major entities including Kimberly-Clark, PepsiCo, and Unilever.

Leadership and Governance Contributions

Following her appointment, Ms. Narsimhan will play a critical role in board-level oversight by joining the Audit Committee and the Risk Management Committee. Her background spans multiple regions, including Europe, the Middle East & Africa, and Southeast Asia, where she has focused on business transformation, risk management, and financial strategy. Her addition is part of a strategic effort to enhance the board’s diversity, which has now reached over 54%.

Strategic Outlook

Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Chairperson of HCLTech, emphasized that the appointment aligns with the company’s pivot toward growth led by emerging technologies like AI. HCLTech, which reported consolidated revenues of $14.5 billion for the 12-month period ending December 2025, continues to prioritize high-level governance and experienced leadership as it delivers digital, engineering, and cloud solutions to clients across 60 countries.
