Godawari Power & Ispat Meridien Realtech Converts Warrants into Equity Shares

Godawari Power & Ispat Limited has announced the successful conversion of 13,61,000 convertible warrants into fully paid-up equity shares by Meridien Realtech Private Limited. The conversion, completed on April 20, 2026, follows the payment of the remaining 75% of the issue price, resulting in a total inflow of Rs. 25,00,83,750. This move increases the company’s issued and paid-up share capital to 67,27,25,910 equity shares.

Warrant Conversion Details

Following the earlier preferential issue of warrants, Meridien Realtech Private Limited has exercised its option to convert a portion of its holdings. The company has allotted 13,61,000 equity shares of face value Re. 1 each at a premium of Rs. 244 per share. The total subscription amount received for this conversion stands at Rs. 25,00,83,750, calculated at Rs. 183.75 per warrant.

Impact on Share Capital

As a result of this allotment, the company’s total issued, subscribed, and paid-up capital has increased from 67,13,64,910 to 67,27,25,910 equity shares. The post-conversion shareholding of Meridien Realtech Private Limited has risen to 24,61,000 shares, representing 0.37% of the total issued capital of the company.

Status of Remaining Warrants

The company maintains a significant pipeline of pending warrant conversions from its previous preferential issue. Regarding Meridien Realtech Private Limited, out of their initial allotment of 81,63,100 warrants, a total of 11,00,000 were converted previously. With the current conversion of 13,61,000 warrants, there remains a balance of 57,02,100 warrants yet to be converted. The newly issued shares will rank pari passu with existing equity shares in terms of dividends and voting rights.
