LT Foods has announced the appointment of Ritesh Sud as the new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for its India and Far East operations. Bringing over 20 years of experience in the FMCG sector, Sud is tasked with driving the company’s next phase of brand-led growth, strengthening market leadership, and enhancing consumer relevance. His appointment comes as the company continues to scale its global footprint and diversify its portfolio.
Strategic Leadership Expansion
In a significant move to accelerate its growth trajectory, LT Foods has brought on Ritesh Sud to lead its marketing division in India and the Far East. Reporting directly to Mr. Ritesh Arora, CEO of the region, Sud will spearhead strategies to build strong, differentiated, and scalable brands. His mandate includes driving premiumisation, optimizing innovation-led go-to-market strategies, and improving overall marketing effectiveness across all consumer touchpoints.
A Seasoned Industry Leader
Ritesh Sud is an MBA graduate from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, with a distinguished track record in the FMCG industry. Prior to joining LT Foods, he served as Vice President (Marketing) for National Brands at Tata Consumer Products Limited. During his tenure there, he was instrumental in delivering portfolio growth and leading award-winning, AI-driven campaigns. His earlier experience also includes a successful stint at Perfetti Van Melle, where he played a pivotal role in the launch and expansion of iconic confectionery brands, including the successful creation of the jelly candy category in India.
Focus on Future Growth
The appointment comes at a time of robust financial performance for LT Foods, which reported a consolidated revenue of approximately Rs. 8,773 crores for FY’25. The company has maintained a strong growth momentum, recording a 5-year Revenue CAGR of 16% and a PAT CAGR of 21%. By leveraging Sud’s expertise in digital-first brand building and purpose-led marketing, LT Foods aims to further sharpen its consumer focus and capitalize on emerging opportunities within the specialty rice and organic food-ingredient segments.
