Enviro Infra Engineers Limited Secures Two Major Maharashtra STP Projects Worth ₹972 Crore

Enviro Infra Engineers Limited has received Letters of Empanelment from the Swachh Maharashtra Mission Directorate for two significant sewage treatment projects. Valued at a combined ₹972.19 crore (including GST), these Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects are set for completion within 24 months. These initiatives focus on improving sewage infrastructure across 306 Urban Local Bodies, contributing to the Swachh Bharat Mission (urban) 2.0.

Boosting Sustainable Infrastructure

On April 10, 2026, Enviro Infra Engineers Limited was awarded two major contracts under the Swachh Bharat Mission (urban) 2.0 in Maharashtra. These projects aim to significantly upgrade sanitation facilities and environmental health across the state by developing 241.60 MLD of total Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) capacity.

Project Breakdown

The contracts are divided into two distinct categories based on local treatment capacity requirements:

  • Category I: Development of 120.50 MLD of STP capacity, along with 209 KM of Interception & Diversion (I&D) length and 887.20 KM of sewer network. The value of this specific order is ₹587.208 crore.
  • Category II: Development of 121.10 MLD of STP capacity, along with 105.50 KM of I&D length and 433.68 KM of sewer network. This project is valued at ₹384.982 crore.

Operational Outlook

Both projects are to be executed on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis. With a standardized execution timeline of 24 months, the company is set to play a pivotal role in strengthening the urban infrastructure of 306 local bodies serving populations under 1 lakh. This successful bidding reflects the company’s technical expertise in delivering large-scale, mission-critical environmental engineering solutions.
